Welcome!

All are invited to join us as we engage in the practice of shamatha meditation.  This practice has been used for millenia by people who wished to develop a mind possessed of clarity, calmness, and precision.  Recent scientific studies are beginning to confirm the immense cognitive and psychological benefits of this technique.

As a pure technique, shamatha is not the sole province of any particular faith, and people of all backgrounds are warmly encouraged to participate in our practice sessions.  In particular, our Tuesday morning sessions do not have any religious content, but are solely intended as practice periods.

Experienced and novice meditators alike are invited to join us as we explore this ancient technique.  The Meditation Group meets twice a week.  Please see our schedule for more information.
